Job Overview:
We’re hiring an IT Administrator Officer to ensure the smooth operation, security, and maintenance of our internal systems and tools. This role is ideal for someone with a strong technical foundation in Linux/Windows administration, basic networking, and familiarity with PHP/Java environments. You will manage day-to-day IT operations, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical support to our growing team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. System Administration
- Monitor and maintain servers, networks, and system uptime (Linux & Windows)
- Perform regular system updates, backups, and patch management
- Maintain firewalls, antivirus, and internal IT security protocols
2. User & Network Support
- Provide daily IT support and troubleshooting to internal users (hardware/software)
- Manage user access, devices, email configurations, and VPN connectivity
- Monitor and maintain local and cloud-based network performance
3. Tool & Software Management
- Oversee internal productivity tools (e.g., project management, CRM, shared drives)
- Support the configuration and optimization of tech tools used across departments
- Liaise with software vendors and external IT support when needed
4. Basic Web & Application Oversight
- Provide support for in-house or client environments using PHP/Java-based applications
- Assist with basic hosting, SSL, and domain management tasks
- Work with developers to ensure proper deployment support when required
Requirement:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in IT system or network administration
- Hands-on experience with Linux and Windows environments
- Familiar with basic networking (LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCP, routers, firewalls)
- Understanding of PHP and Java structure (basic troubleshooting or code familiarity)
- Comfortable managing internal tools, user accounts, and remote support tools
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and time management skills
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
- Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
